Miss Celia is 3

I've been so busy lately and this time of year is just too silly for words,
...but I did take the time to slow down for our lovely Celia's 3rd birthday last Sunday.

She had a ball, she acted very grown up all day and thanked everyone for their gifts and for coming to see her.

I want to bottle her up and keep her at this age, she's just precious AND cheeky at times, but mostly precious and gorgeous.

If we lived in the Northern Hemisphere we'd still be celebrating Celia's 2nd Birthday....but here in Australia today is the 23rd of November and yesterday we celebrated all day.

I can't believe my little one is 2 already, although it does feel like an age when she came out into this world. I remember cuddling up with her and Andres that first (and only) night in hospital AND she slept with us for the first 3 months.
On occasion now she still comes in to sleep with us and I do cherish these times, our kids won't be little for too long and it's such a nice feeling to make them feel warm and safe.

Princess Castle Cake

This cake was the result of many hours of hard work last Saturday for Latesha's 5th Birthday Party.
It saw me getting stressed, laughing alot and nearly crying in the space of a few hours.
I was pleased at the end result though, even if it was a little wonky.

Latesha and her friends oooed and ahhhed and said it was perfect - that was more than I could have hoped to hear.

Last Wednesday was Latesha's birthday.

I had Kindergarten duty on that day and made up a batch of these to take in for all the kidlets when it was "snack time". They loved them!




Another batch was made up for her party on Sunday which went down a treat too.
